Designa
José Hermosín, known artistically as Designa and Akash, was born in Seville in 1980 and has been linked to electronic music and culture since he was young. Currently, his career is divided into two different projects:
• Designa: His first project in electronic music was JXtorsion, before discovering Psytrance in 2006. From then on, he began to play at parties throughout Andalusia in 2007. In 2008 he co-founded the Skizodelic Mind collective, organizing events with renowned artists in the scene. In 2017, he decided to launch his career as Designa, a name with which he began to stand out in the Psytrance circuit, organizing the South Nature Festival together with Skizodelic Mind, where he shared the bill with great artists such as Astrix, Rinkadink, Astral Projection, Absolum, Ajja, Nektarios, Martian Arts, Render, Ninesense, among many others.
• Akash: In 2009, he started producing Psybreak and Psytrance under this alias. In 2013, he founded the collective ARRYTHMIK, focused on Psybreak, and that same year he was signed by Tek. Records. Since then, he has shared the stage with artists such as Too Dusty, Forufreezer and Z4thoichi.
As an international DJ, he has taken his music to countries such as India, Thailand, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Denmark, England, Turkey and Tunisia. His passion and love for electronic music has driven him to create culture and movement in the Psytrance scene in Spain, consolidating himself as a reference. Today, he focuses on promotion, event organization and continues as director of Skizodelic Mind, a vibrant and recognized collective in the music scene.
Designa
José Hermosín, conocido artísticamente como Designa y Akash, nació en Sevilla en 1980 y lleva desde joven vinculado a la música y la cultura electrónica. Actualmente, su carrera se divide en dos proyectos diferentes:
• Designa: Su primer proyecto en la música electrónica fue JXtorsion, antes de descubrir el Psytrance en 2006. A partir de ahí, empezó a pinchar en fiestas por toda Andalucía en 2007. En 2008 cofundó el colectivo Skizodelic Mind, organizando eventos con artistas de renombre de la escena. En 2017 decidió lanzar su carrera como Designa, nombre con el que empezó a destacar en el circuito del Psytrance, organizando junto a Skizodelic Mind el South Nature Festival, donde compartió cartel con grandes artistas como Astrix, Rinkadink, Astral Projection, Absolum, Ajja, Nektarios, Martian Arts, Render, Ninesense, entre muchos otros.
• Akash: En 2009, comenzó a producir Psybreak y Psytrance bajo este alias. En 2013, fundó el colectivo ARRYTHMIK, centrado en Psybreak, y ese mismo año fichó por Tek. Records. Desde entonces, ha compartido escenario con artistas como Too Dusty, Forufreezer y Z4thoichi.
Como DJ internacional, ha llevado su música a países como India, Tailandia, Italia, Suiza, Portugal, Dinamarca, Inglaterra, Turquía y Túnez. Su pasión y amor por la música electrónica le ha impulsado a crear cultura y movimiento en la escena Psytrance en España, consolidándose como un referente. Hoy, se centra en la promoción, organización de eventos y continúa como director de Skizodelic Mind, un colectivo vibrante y reconocido en la escena musical.
